Over the past years, Strojrem has experienced continuous growth and development. In early summer 2022, the owners of Strojrem agreed on a strategic partnership with Siapro from Slovenia. Siapro acquired a 76% ownership stake in Strojrem, while the remaining 24% stayed with Marijo Dijanuš.
Siapro is an internationally recognized company specializing in the engineering and manufacturing of shot blasting machines, foundry equipment, and small hydropower plants. Next summer, the company will celebrate 30 years of successful operation.
Both companies share ambitious plans for their joint future. Firstly, a 30% growth in business operations is projected. Secondly, significant investments are planned to expand production capacities and business facilities at the Strojrem location. The plan also includes hiring new employees, primarily engineers and skilled technical professionals from the wider Križevci area.
As Franci Jezeršek, Director of Siapro and new member of Strojrem’s Management Board, stated:
“You must grow in order to survive.”
He emphasized that this was a friendly acquisition, highlighting the long-standing cooperation with the late founder of Strojrem, Franjo Dijanuš, and the strong mutual trust built over the years.
