Job description

• Planning and organisation: Operational planning, organisation and monitoring of the entire production process to meet deadlines and maintain high quality standards.
• Team management: Leading and coordinating the production team, motivating employees and ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
• Quality and cost control: Monitoring all manufacturing stages, from initial processing to final assembly, controlling material consumption and optimising costs and resources.
• Process improvement: Continuously identifying opportunities for improvement, introducing more efficient working methods and optimising production.
• Cross-departmental collaboration: Working closely with the design/engineering and procurement departments and management to ensure the timely flow of information.
• Reporting: Regularly reporting to management on production performance and achievement of targets.

Required education, knowledge and skills

• Education: A higher education qualification in mechanical engineering (Bachelor’s, Master’s or equivalent engineering degree).
• Experience: At least 2–3 years of experience in the same or similar management roles in the manufacturing industry.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Leadership skills: Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team.
• Technical knowledge: Excellent understanding of mechanical component manufacturing processes and advanced ability to interpret technical documentation and drawings.
• Software proficiency: Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems for production and resource tracking is essential. Proficiency in CAD software is also required, including reviewing, analysing, creating and modifying technical drawings and 3D models.
• Other requirements: A category B driving licence, the ability to work independently and a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications: Higher education qualification, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or equivalent
Driving licence: Category B
Language: English (B2)
Minimum work experience: 2–3 years
